About the Image Resizer
The Image Resizer changes the dimensions of a picture. Use it to meet upload size rules, make profile photos, or shrink huge camera images before sharing.
How to use it
- Choose an image.
- Enter a new width or height. Keep the lock on to avoid stretching.
- Or pick a preset such as 1080 × 1080 for Instagram.
- Select Resize and download.
Example
Resize a 4000 × 3000 photo to 1600 × 1200 for a blog post.
Questions people ask
Will enlarging an image make it sharper?
No. Making an image bigger cannot add detail that was not there, so it may look soft. Resizing down keeps it sharp.
